Taryn is no stranger to the media, having participated in over 1000 television, radio and print media interviews.

It all began in 2012 when she posted her nontraditional ‘before and after’ photo which thrust her into the spotlight and onto the world stage. Since the Premiere of Embrace at the Sydney Film Festival in 2016 Taryn has been promoting Embrace through innovative media campaigns, from ‘The Race to Embrace’ in Canada to ‘Girls Night In’ in the USA to ‘The Union Project’ in the United Kingdom.

In 2014 Taryn led Australia’s most successful crowdfunding campaign in history, activating 8909 people across the globe to contribute $331,000 to make the social change documentary Embrace. Since the Premiere of Embrace at the Sydney Film Festival in 2016 Taryn has been promoting Embrace through innovative media campaigns, from ‘The Race to Embrace’ in Canada to ‘Girls Night In’ in the USA to ‘The Union Project’ in the United Kingdom.

Embrace the documentary has generated gross revenue in excess of 3 million dollars and soared to #1 at the box office in Germany, beating Guardians of the Galaxy and the opening night of the blockbuster King Arthur. Taryn has appeared on Germany and Brazil’s number one TV shows with a combined audience of over 100 million people, as well as the BBC, Good Morning America, The Doctors and The Huffington Post.
